I absolutely LOVE following beauty trends and seeing what new products come out and trying all of the new fun stuff. This year is a little different as most of us are all still quarantined, probably not wearing makeup everyday, so the trends are a bit different than I expected! Here are some of my favorite trends and new releases that I am seeing so far this spring/ summer.
The first trend that I am loving is Clean, fresh, and glowy skin! I am living this trend of barely there glow skin. As I mentioned earlier many people are not wearing a full face of face makeup and this trend absolutely follows that! Some of my favorite products that follow this trend are these “tinted” sunscreens from Tula and Supergoop! They give a nice glowy smooth finish to your skin while protecting it. You can use these alone or under other makeup. Top with some cream bronzer and highlighter and you are good to go!
Another trend that I am loving and seeing again this spring/summer is winged eyeliner and big bold lashes. I feel like this is such a huge trend because the bottom half of our face is covered by a mask all the time so we might as well play up our eyes right! The last trend I want to talk about for spring/summer is feathered brows. This trend has been around for a little while now but it is not going away just yet. It gives a put together but yet natural look without being too defined and I’m here for it!
