Sephora does their big sale event usually 2 times a year, in the spring and during the holidays and that is exactly what they’re doing again this year!
The amount that you save and when you can shop is based on your status in their rewards program. Their Beauty Insider, rewards program is free to join plus you get a free gift during your birthday month. So even if you’re not already part of their rewards program if there is anything that catches your eye it’d be worth it to sign up and get the 10% off as they rarely run sales!
These are just some of my favorites and I hope can give you any help you might need if you feel like you have a need or hole in your makeup or skincare routine! This is also a great time to pick up on any makeup tools, hair care, or Perfume/Colognes. I might even do part 2 including those items if you all would be interested!
My Makeup Picks:
1. Armani Beauty Luminious Silk Foundation: This is probably my favorite high end foundation (I know big statement!) It has a medium buildable coverage meaning it’s not heavy and cakey, evens out my skintone and applies and blends effortlessly. It’s great for my dryer skin and doesn’t settle into any fine lines. Win Win!
2. Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer: I honestly didn’t have high hopes when I tried this product but I’m SO glad that I gave it a fair shot as it really is cake-less under my eyes and didn’t look dry or settle into my fine lines which is a huge pain point of mine! I am happy with the coverage I recieve and feel like it lasts all day!
3. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Spray: OK I know I’m going to sound crazy but I only use this to set my under-eyes! I know its expensive but it lasts me forever since I only use it under my eyes and it really does give you a flawless airbrushed look under your eyes!
4. Hourglass Ambient Light Powder: I use this to set the rest of my face! When I first saw this product I was super nervous to set my whole face with it because it looks super shimmery and almost like a highlighter, but when it is dusted over your face it just gives life back to your skin, like a “glow from within” rather than a normal cakey powder.
5. Too Faced Born this way The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette: The sale is the perfect time to pick up a new eyeshadow palette! I have been eye-ing ths one as it has a great mix of both matte and shimmer shades and can create multiple complete looks! I’m always very basic with my eyeshadow colors and stick to everyday neutrals and I could get a ton of use out of this palette!
6. Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer: This is my favorite everyday bronzer! I love that it has some shimmer to it so it doesn’t look flat and muddy plus it is super easy to blend and it a good neutral tone and won’t make you look orange!
7. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: This really is like a real life filter for your skin! I usually use it like a primer and put a cc-cream or foundation on top but you can also just use it alone without foundation for “no- makeup makeup days” or can build it up over top of your foundation as a highlighter
8. Buxom Full on Lip Cream: I’m totally in a lipgloss phase and most days it’s all I’ll wear! Its quick, easy and more flattering on me than a matte lip! These are one of the best. They’re a little bit plumping so they help make your lips look fuller and erase the little annoying lines on your lips as well as hiding any dryness!
9. Clinique Cheek Pop Blush: These are some of my favorite blushes! They look cute plus they have a very good color range, they’re long lasting and easy to blend. Plus they’re pigmented enough that they add some life to your face but aren’t too pigmented that you end up looking like a clown!
10. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: I will always come back to this setting spray! It is a cult classic for a reason and will really make your make up last!
My Skincare Picks:
1.Drunk Elephant Baby Facial: This really is like an at home facial, I wouldn’t use it more than once a week until your skin gets more used to it and then work up to twice a week as it can be a bit much at the beginning but you will see a difference in your skintone, dark spots as well as fine lines.
2. Ole Henrickson Banana Bright Eye Cream: Anyone with dark circles needs this eyecream! Not only is it moisturizing but it is also the perfect tone to help cancel out under eye dark circles. This has been a must for me lately!
3. Isle of Paradise self Tanning drops: I have been using these since the holidays and I love them! You just mix a couple of drops to any moisturizer and apply like normal at night and you will wake up with a gorgeous glow! Plus this is gentle enough to use on my face as well as doesnt break me out!
4.Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Balm: I’m a total advocate of double cleansing especially at night! This is a great first cleanse! It will really remove your makeup without leaving your skin feeling dry and tight.
5. Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water: I always follow up my makeup remover with a micellar water to really get the skin CLEAN. This one leaves my skin feeling really clean. I will use this in the morning and night!
6. The Ordionary Buffet Serum: This is a great everyday serum! You can use it morning and night and is great for everyday use. There are tons of serums with really targeted ingreditents and different purposes but this is a great “starter” or everyday serum
7. Ole Henrickson Transforming Walnut Scrub: Exfoliating is SO important in the skincare process, it helps with cell turn over, minimizing fine lines, removes dead dry skin and this is a great one! It is gentle enough for sensitive skin but still does a great job. I keep this in the shower and both my husband and I use it!
8. Origins Hello Calm Relaxing & Hydrating Mask: This is a great hydrating moisture boosting mask that also really calms any irrated skin and redness. This is another great product if you have sensitive skin and would be good to use 3-4 times a week!
9. Biossance Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Mask: This is a mask that is similar in how it works to the baby facial but not as intense. I would do this mask once a week to help reduce dark spots, fine lines and really clean out your pores!
10. Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream: This is a great every day moisturizer. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin but really gets the job done! I think it would be great for both dry and oily skin and I know it says day cream but I use it at night as well if my skin isn’t feeling especially dry and needing something thicker!
